SIG Teaching: Uppsala
The Department of Linguistics and Philosophy at Uppsala University offers a BA and MA curriculum
in language technology since 1994. Language technology has a permanent teaching staff of one
professor (Anna Sågvall Hein) and three assistant professors (Mats Dahllöf, Roussanka Loukanova,
Beata Megyesi). Currently there is also one guest professor (Joakim Nivre).

Experience in distant learning
- The language technology program in Uppsala has experience of distance teaching in collaboration with Göteborg University and Lund University.
- Teachers in the department also have experience of distance teaching within the national Swedish graduate school in language technology (GSLT).
