- Compounds are marked as samset-analyse (analysed by the compound module) or samset-leks (compunds found in the lexicon). The last lexical item in the compound is written in square brackets with an asterisk in front. The last lexical item and the inflection suffix are also written in square brackets with a plus in front. Example: Søylehaller - <*hall> <+haller>.
- Genitive - i.e. words from the lexicon with an s added - are marked as gen.
- Capital letters are changed to lower case, also for words at the beginning of a sentence. Capitalised words within a sentence are marked with an asterisk <*>
