The Norwegian recordings are transcribed in two ways, one standard orthographic Norwegian Bokmål and one phonetic transcription. (The transcription guidelines.) The recordings were first transcribed by human annotaters phonetically. Subsequently the phonetic transcription was translated by a semi-automatic fashion using the Dialect Transliterator specially developed at the Text Laboratory. (Translation guidelines)
