Welcome to Norwegian Words — a searchable lexical database containing approximately 1650 Norwegian nouns, verbs and adjectives. On this website you will find information about different properties that can affect acquisition, storage and processing of these words in speakers with and without speech and language difficulties.

You can search for single words, find words that share various properties, or receive information about properties of words from different assessment tools.

The words in Norwegian Words are gathered from different assessment tools developed to investigate lexicon and language use in children and adults.

Norwegian Words is developed by Research Group in Clinical Linguistics and Language Acquisition, University of Oslo, together with The Text Laboratory, University of Oslo.

A lexical database of a selection of Norwegian words, developed by the Research Group in Clinical Linguistics and Language Acquisition at the Department of Linguistic and Scandinavian Studies, University of Oslo.
